You Can Use Canva for...

With having a blog and podcast, I need to be able to create a lot of graphics.  These are some of the ways I use Canva.

Blog Post Graphic

Many online tools can give you royalty-free graphics for your project. But that’s where the fun ends.

With Canva you can create your own blog graphics using templates, photos, and elements. You can even upload your own photos and artwork.

And the options are almost endless if you have Canva Pro. But you can make impressive graphics with the basic version as well.

One very useful feature of Canva Pro is that you can create designs that match your brand.

Social Media Posts

Canva has inspired you to create breathtaking designs for your audience.  So now you’re ready to share your awesome content with the world.  From the platform, you can upload posts directly to Facebook, Pinterest. As well as other social media accounts. You will just need to give Canva access to your accounts. It’s easy and makes posting seamless.

Use the built-in content marketing calendar so you can post consistently.  That way you can create awesome personal or business related graphics. Schedule them and get back to your busy lifestyle.

You can design graphics for almost all social media platforms. Of course, you can add audio, video, and animation to make your posts fun and engaging.

For the solopreneur, Canva Pro makes it easy to create marketing campaigns that will help your business grow! You can now design a powerful social media campaign tailored directly to your brand and its image.  It also provides a way for you to collaborate with your team seamlessly.

Podcast audio & video clips

This is one of my favorite ways to use Canva. I use it to create custom graphics, add audio, and photos of my guests.

No longer do I have to pay extra for another app to create the waveform to post podcast clips.

Now I use Canva for creating my video and audio clips for my podcast. You can even record your own voice directly into your design without leaving the platform.

Did I mention one of the reasons why it’s so much easier is because of the vast array of templates available?

Content scheduling

As I mentioned earlier Canva incorporates a content marketing calendar in its interface.

You can schedule your social media posts just like you would with an app like Tailwind.

Create your designs ahead of time, schedule them, and move onto something else. It’s easy and you can post while you sleep!

Freebies & Giveaways

I love to give my audience free stuff! I like to add a freebie such as a cheat sheet, template, or checklist at the end of my blog posts.

These free downloads add value to your content and make it easier for your audience to consume what you have so lovingly created for them.

If you use Canva Pro you can design ebooks and low content products. Products such as journals and planners make handy giveaways.

You can even create products to sell on platforms like Amazon.

BONUS:

Create pretty Zoom Backgrounds even integrating your own photos.

Video backgrounds are a fun way to present a professional front while keeping your personal space out of view.
