From juvenile detention to motherhood: a story of resilience and second chances. (recorded 6 years ago)
At just 16, Estefany faced adult charges while six months pregnant. Her world was turned upside down as I spent 90 days behind bars.
But hope arrived in an unexpected form, her probation officer. He advocated for Estefany’s release, recognizing the unique challenges faced.
The judge's decision? Three years probation instead of giving birth in prison and losing custody of her child.
Despite her experience, Estefany does not hesitate to express gratitude for her life. She recalls moments when she felt like the odd one out? When success seemed out of reach?
For a long time this young mom lingered in despair. But during this interview, she woke up thankful for the incredible people in her life and how much progress she had made.
Estefany encourages solo moms to remember that, “Your past struggles don't define you. They shape you into someone stronger, wiser, and more appreciative.”
So solo mom, if you’re struggling and feeling like there’s no hope, this video is for you. Watch now!
