Harnessing Resilience: A Black Solo Mom's Story w/Queen Candice

Building resilience as a solo mom is a major undertaking and raising children alone is not for the faint of heart.

Yet solo moms worldwide do it every day. Not only are many solo moms raising multiple children alone, but they sometimes have to deal with major challenges such as domestic abuse, criticism from the peanut gallery, and financial hardship.

Today's guest, Miniimah Muhammad, (aka Queen Candice) is a spoken word artist, model, and podcast host, among other things. She shares with us how she navigated balancing raising her children while on the road performing.

When life threw her curveballs, Queen Candice didn't just catch them—she juggled them while spinning words that empower Black women.

If you're in the middle of a major crisis while raising children solo please know you're not alone. Please reach out for help.
